    Hi all,

I just finished this hourglass quilt, and I wanted to post some photos! I made this quilt to cover my side of the bed, since I am always freezing in at night. Our duvet cover is dark blue and white, so I found fabrics to coordinate with it.

The quilt measures about 5 feet by 7 feet. I used white bleached muslin and lots of Amy Butler fabrics in her Daisy Chain Line. They were so colorful and a lot of fun to work with! I pieced the back to add interest. For quilting, the hourglasses are quilted in the ditch and the border was free-motion quilted. Enjoy!

Just lovely - the white really shows off those Amy B prints in that block. Nice quilting too!

I lilke this quilt because it is both traditional and modern at the same time! Love your pieced back, too!

Great quilt. It should keep you warm on your side of the bed. I have that same problem about keeping warm.
