I think I need to answer some questions. It is quilted with just Stitch In The Ditch. In the black borders the pattern of the blocks is just continued as if there were another colored block there.
This was made almost entirely from my scrap basket, not my stash, although a few pieces may have come from a larger piece of fabric. Even the black came from JoAnn's remnant bin. The back is a piece that was given to me.
It is very easy to make; the secret is in the choice of fabric for each part of the box.
I had a lot of fun making it. It was done in about six weeks, and I didn't work on it every day.

I've seen a lot of these quilts but yours is by far the nicest. I like the black but I really love how you've added another fabric "wall" to the inside of each block to give it more depth. Very inspiring. Congratulations on your ribbon!
