That is a beautiful quilt and although the colors are right for a marine, it will also be beautiful in any decor. Your hand stitching is so uniform and really adds love to it. He must be a very special person to you. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I cannot think of another compliment to your quilt that hasn't already been said. It is WONDERFUL for certain.. What a wonderful Aunt you are to gift him with this beautiful yet masculine quilt.

As a mother of a serviceman like so many others on this board we know what it is to have a loved one serving our country in perilous times. Thank your nephew for his service from yet another Quilt Board Member with deepest gratitude for his selfless time serving our nation.

Ditto, Ditto, Ditto....wonderful job and great gift for your Marine.

I started this pattern last weekend with my Dad's shirts as a memory quilt for my Mom. I am making it much smaller though I hope that she will like it. She is not a scrap quilt person and likes bright colors. His shirts are blue and brown colors mostly.

I have always loved Bonnie's Blueridge Beauty quilt and it is on my bucket list. Your quilt came out fantastic and your handquilting is just lovely and compliments the quilt perfectly. Outstanding finish!
