Thanks again. It is pretty amazing what we can do with scraps. I much prefer quilts that are more modern and colorful. I love looking at all the beautiful quilts on this board. We have such talented people here. I guess I should post a picture of my Bliss quilt, much more my style.

Regina asked about the binding. I was sorta experimenting with that. I had plenty of the fabric so I cut it at 3 1/2 inches. I cut the edges of the quilt about a quarter of an inch wider then the top and sewed the binding to the back in about a half inch from the edge. Then when I turned it to the front to sew it down with a deco stitch I kind tucked the batting in, or basically rolled any extra batting. It was not exact but it did give it a puffier look then most bindings I have done. I have never done that before, but it turned out ok.

You did a wonderful job with color choices. I think your FM quilting looks just right. :-)

What a nice way to put it. My fil kept losing every pair of pjs that we took him, but he had 7 sets of dentures in his drawer and he had his own teeth. Who can explain?

Lovely quilt - blues are soothing and comforting, and the fabrics are lovely to look at, and it was made with love. It is a wonderful piece of work!

I love the hearts & flowers - they translate into l-o-v-e & I'm sure your FIL feels your love when he looks at this quilt. :D
