I know what you mean about fabric being heavy and scratchy. I made a quilt a number of years ago using Scalamandre drapery fabric. That thing will NEVER wear out, but it also will never shrink! Hand quilting was a literal pain!

Glad to see it passed inspection and will probably last a long time (even with a dog and its toenails working on it)!

Trixie is loving it! My dogs always insist on laying on the unassembled quilt. You dog however, is much more civilized.
