Default Blue strippy with LeMoyne Stars, 74 x 86

With the exception of the Moda Grunge in the setting triangles, it's made entirely from stash, even pieced batting. But then I bought several small cones of Glide, so I guess that pretty much cancels out my claim to frugality.

I used Deb Tucker's Rapid Fire Ruler to make the stars. Practically painless! I didn't do the best job of spacing out the colors.

I used the pink Crayola washable marker to draw the grid, except for orange in a few places where a corrected line was needed. It took three washes to get all the orange out. That's the first time I've ever had a problem with the markers.

Quilted with Glide on my Tiara.

Love it! Your quilting is to die for! I don't think your stars are half square triangles, so did you do set in seams, when you added the peach color on the center close up star? Beautiful job and best from your stash.

Thank you, toogie! No, the Rapid Fire Ruler is a way of making LeMoyne Stars without set in seams. If you look closely, I think you can see that the background squares and triangles are split.
