I find my inspiration and also some of my patterns in books about the British tradition of wholecloth quilts. Some of my quilts are almost reproductions! Most patterns I have to re-draw because there are no templates in the books and some smaller ones I quilt freehand (like the spirals in the center of the blue quilt).
I also use stencils and change the desings a little or only use them partly. The world is full of ornaments!

Absolutly beautiful! I also love the design.

A whole cloth is one of my dreams. I just am a very poor artist and can not immagine being able to get the design onto the cloth.
