Default Blue & Yellow Baby Quilt

I made this for my daughter’s God Daughter whose eta is sometime in December. All Batiks from my stash. Missouri * Kindred Pinwheel, easy to put together but you lose lots of points with their directions. I doubt that she will care, still pleased with the results, thanks for looking.

Really cute, and the backing is perfect for the quilt.

Blue and yellow are my favorite colors for baby quilts these days. I'm sure it will be loved and appreciated.

Lovely quilt and batik fabrics for a baby quilt. Not pink or blue and the pattern is not limited to babyhood, IMHO. Good choices all around. I have made this block for a very large queen sized quilt a couple of years ago and I agree it was a precision challenge. I got my directions from a book published at least 30 years ago. In the end, I learned a lot and enjoyed the final result. So much movement in the block that it is a good one to keep in your "tool box" of GO TO blocks. Might be time to pull it out again. Thanks for the beautiful reminder.

I just love your stash and always love pinwheels and variations of them. Very nice, as always.
