If I were a betting person, I'd say odds are pretty good you're new "hybrid piping" technique is going to go viral! Love it and everything about that quilt! Fantastic find on that sheet for your backing fabric. Well done.

An absolutely wonderful quilt! I think this is one of the most beautiful bird quilts I have ever seen-I love bird quilts as I love birds and work hard to attract them. Your piecing and applique are so perfectly surrounded by lovely quilting motifs. Just beautiful. Thank you for showing us your masterpiece.

I have that pattern, but you certainly made it your own. I love all the elements you used. That quilt will be enjoyed for a long time. I love finding just the "right" fabric for the backing, and that is exactly what you did.

So beautiful! Even though the birds are multicolor, to me they are bluebirds, and we can never have to many bluebirds. Thanks for sharing.

Your quilt and quilting is beyond Awesome! That piped border is just the design to give the quilt a little "movement" if you will. And that backing is perfect! Fantastic job.

Love your quilt and your special touches with the binding. Did you take one of her classes? Her techniques certainly inspire one to do something different.

I have Susan Clevelands class on Craftsy (aka/Bluprint).

There is some really good instruction on unique technques on there. I highly recommend it.
