Got all the rows sewn together tonight! I am so happy with it and can hardly wait to get it done and on my bed. The border fabric is in the wash and that has to be fussy cut into the 4 strips for mitering the corners.

I knew it would go with my duvet cover and shams but not how much it really does! Even more so that the border fabric has patterned beige and blue stripes too.

It's a beautiful quilt. The border fabric colors look like they will be a perfect fit, but I don't envy you having to fussy cut for mitering. Looking forward to seeing the finished top.

Thank you and I should have been clearer about the picture of the striped fabric. ;)

It is from a duvet cover and pillow sham set that I have had for years and thought that it would go with the quilt. I was saying that I didn't think it went THAT well with it. The color match is nearly perfect, even down to the pinkish stripe matching the bit of that color in the flowers!

This is the actual border fabric for the quilt.

Got 3 border sides sewn on and one corner mitered tonight. It took hours to iron, starch, cut and sew just this. I hope I can push through and finish it tomorrow night.

Very pretty! Strips make such nice mitered borders! I saw your tutorial you did sometime back. Very helpful! Can't wait to see it finished. Have you decided a quilting pattern yet?
