How could you not like that absolutely gorgeous quilt. You did a stunning job and I am very impressed. I love it. They aren't my colors either, but the quilt is beautiful to say the least. I know your DGD is going to love this quilt for her lifetime! Callie

Thank you, Dunster and everyone else. I thought the diamond log cabin star was exacting, but didn't require all those little points to meet and all the strips were on the SOG amd I am certainly pleased with how that one turned out. My mom's favorite pattern was the lonestar and now I realize how hard and challenging they can be. Thanks to everyone for the kind comments. I certainly like oranges and especially reds, but yellows and oranges and my complexion are not compatible. I do admire them in clothes, etc., and it seems this week that I have seen three or four orange quilts so maybe it is a new trend. Have a great weekend everyone.

His designs are amazing and your color choice for it is gorgeous! I give you alot of credit for taking on such a challenging project. What an heirloom!
