The url address for the bonnet girls is www.bonnetgirls.com, There are two books available, but also, tons of individual patterns. Each one in my quilt are patterns by Helen Scott. However, two of the blocks are my design, one is Going to market, where Denise is going to market with her little hen, and the other one I designed is called farewell...It shows a bonnet girl bidding farewell to a riverboat...

No, the bonnet girls are not cut outs. They are appliqued pieces which i cut out and appliqued..Even the tiny pieces are appliqued, for instance, the hands, the little bird, etc. The faces are drawn with derwent pencils and micron pens.
