    I agree. I would put a wide border of one of the bright colors, and then on the outside, a narrower black border (the width of the black strips in the quilt) and bind it in black. Fabulous quilt!

    i vote for leave it alone. a border would "ruin" it by distracting attention from the detail that's obvious now.

    i also vote for black binding.

    and for makin' the kid quilt it if he insistes on denim. that's gonna be a lot of hard work. :lol:

    I love your quilt. I would choose one of the darker fabrics Perhaps the green with the lizard.

    Don't think it needs anything else, but if you're sure you want to, how about accent border of the bright green and then finish with wider border (and binding) in the black. Fabulous quilt - your son will love this.

    I would leave it without a border. Or a small black one, if it really needs something... with black binding. It's beautiful as is

    I like it the way it is too...You could do a piano keys border with all the colorful fabrics and then bind it in black..just a thought...
