I like the look in the last one, too. The colors certainly go with what is already in other parts of the quilt. I do not think it is too busy.

Well . . . you asked. The teal border doesn't look right with the seashells IMHO. It's a little to formal whereas the seashells seem more casual. Pretty fabrics by themselves, but I don't think they go together.

I like it. It is far enough away from the shells that it does not distract.

I would like to see it laid out eliminating the narrow strip of white when you find the perfect border fabric. Isn't it frustrating to be so close to completion and to have to go hunting again!

Looking at it again and I'm thinking a teal border with black binding.

I would vote for the last or the first and no it doesnt fight the print. The stand back vote/concept is a good one, semi close your eyes so you see.. a blurr see if the colors are working then open them a bit closer and see what your eye is drawn to first is what I was told. I know that the colors are beautiful and complimentary in the quilt.. I think you should do the old coin toss. Take a coin say heads I amdoing this.. tails and I am doing that.. and close your eyes. Now.. before you open them you already KNOW what you wish you were getting and .. go with that. Tricky toss but it works everytime. We over complicate things that our hearts already have decided. Share us the finished quilt I am sure it will be perfect.

Yes, last one would be my charge, with number 1 being my second. Beautiful quilt and beautiful material.
