I like option #2. It breaks up all the gold. But the choice is really yours, So which one is your heart telling you to go with?

I like option one with the yellow border being a little more on the narrow side. The leaves are awesome.

I also like option 1, but both would work. But I'm curious - why is the pieced border not going to work out?

It's too short. It's supposed to go along the top and bottom, but doesn't reach from side to side. I don't have enough of either fabric to make it longer. Oh well, I like how it turned out. I'll take a picture of it pretty quick to share. I will need opinions on backing color too. Then I'll need help figuring out how much backing fabric to buy.
