Thanks, I knew that border print was wrong, and wallpaper print is so right

What a great idea! I can't wait to see the finished quilt.

Oh I do like that fabric. It should look really nice when put together.

This is the cleverest thing I have ever seen! Now I need to get myself some border fabric...

That is neat. Did you make this pattern up or did you see instructions somewhere? I am addicted, sort of, to border fabrics.

I had just completed a 1/4 log cabin block, where you sewed strips of 4 or 5 different fabrics together, cut squares, in my case it was 8 inch. It depends on how wide your strips were to begin with. Then I took 2 of the squares, and cut them as I indicated in the first post, and that gave me the idea. I just skipped having to sew all the strips together, since it was strippy material. As I write this, I have just gotten the top of this quilt put together. I will post it on Monday. Very simple and neat way to make a quick quilt, if you have that sort of fabric.

Can't wait to see what you come up with. I have a border print too, at least I bought it for that purpose but what you do my sway me to use it differently.

So clever!! Good for you. Hope you show us when you finish. Sounds like your quilts have to "take a number" LOL. So many quilts so little time!
