Thank you all so much for the nice comments; makes me feel good; perhaps I shall become a quilter after all!
I ordered the pattern but would dearly love to visit the Soutwest Decoratives in person; the children I am making this quilt for live in Albuquerque (Isleta) so I didn't dare visit the shop when I was last visiting them but am sure I will have another chance. Again many thanks for your positive feedback. Sincerely, Antylu

    Beautiful blocks!
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

The blocks are hand appliqued (the pattern was designed for machine applique; but I felt I wanted to hand applique it, this is the first time I have ever done it and have certainly learned a lot) there are some details that are embroidered. Thank you. Antylu

OH MY, these are stunning. On #6 (the last one) I swear that there is a face. Must be the "pot god" smiling at you. Your DD and DSIL will go crazy over this quilt. You have put such meaning and love in the blocks that they can't help but fall in love with the finished quilt. You have a real talent and boy does it show. Thanks for sharing with us. BrendaK

Yes, you know I did not see the face until I took the picture of the block, then looked at the pot itself an sure enough it does look like a face, probably some meaning to the Acoma? Thanks! Antylu
