Question, how are down did you place your magnetic snap? I am thinking about putting one in and was not sure how far to put it down

I usually eyeball the closing for the snap. They are usually 1" to 1 1/2" from the top. I back the snaps with an extra pc of fabric or stabilizer.

The daisy fabric came from my LQS. It is a Donna Dewberry fabric.

I still have to cover my bottom inside piece but was excited to show off what I did. Still need to snip threads and I used disappearing ink that is not gone yet.

TIP READ the directions closely! It isn't hard to make but it would have saved me from ripping a couple times!!

I was almost out of fabric so my handle is narrower, I only put pockets on the back of the inside, goofed and put my buttonhole loop on the front. I want to add something to the pocket, a butterfly pin maybe.

I have been putting pockets on only one side of my bag too just because it is so nicer to have room in the bag portion itself
