boy quilt with trucks and loaders WIP Is it bold enough?

I just started this today. I'm planning on doing 9 patches with all the brights and using the truck and loader fabric to alternate with the 9-patches. I hope it turns out ok. My son picked out the truck fabric last time we went to the fabric store. He is so much fun to bring there...he loves all the fabric.
The first pic shows all the fabrics together and the second pic is how far I've gotten so far. I still have a ways to go before it's done. I'd like to have three quilts done before Christmas(one for each kid).
    Thanks for looking

like all the bright, cheery fabrics that go well with the truck fabric! You'll need all that soda to keep up with those fabrics! have fun .... You've created a challenge for yourself to get 3 quilts done. Happy stitching !!!

I've already changed my original design. I don't have enough of the truck fabric for what I was planning. If it works out, maybe I can have some of it done tomorrow so I can post pics to show you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works...lol
