Braid in a Day? Not for me!

This pattern is called Braid in a Day by Eleanor Burns. Well, it took me much longer but I am happy with the way it turned out! Thanks for looking!

Very nice. I love the colors you worked with. I also love how your quilting compliments the braid design. Very pretty!

I have that pattern but it looks challenging. Yours is lovely and is an inspiration to begin on mine...

Thanks! The quilting itself is definitely my weak part of the process, so means a lot to get nice comments!

As slow as I am, I always have to laugh at the term..."Quilt in a Day"!!! I take longer than that to decide on fabrics! You have done a great job and your colors are grrreat!!

Your braid is very pretty! You did a great job on it. A friend and I discussed this very term- quilt in a day- just the other day. I don't think any of those quilts can be done in a day. Not ven having all the cutting done and doing nothing but sewing all day. But it is nice to have the techniques slimmlined and simplified to make it easier and faster to complete! I still kinda laugh when I see those titles because I know unless it's a small quilt it won't happen in a day. But I do know that the process will be fun!
