Default Braid Quilt for Hostess ready to go!

This quilt was made for friends who are hosting us for a week. The pattern is Eleanor Burns' Braid and the fabrics are Stonehenge by Northcott. The batting is Quilter's Dream Green Batting. It was long arm quilted locally with stars to go with the eagle fabric which is the lighter beige. These folks live in the Pacific NW and an eagle dips down in the neighborhood lake once in awhile to catch lunch!! We are hoping they like it. Sorry the pictures aren't better. I'll have to learn how to do it with a camera instead of a phone! The "lump" at the top is part of the porch rail! Thanks for checking this out! If it had a name, it would probably be "Homesick," because I'm homesick for the place we lived for 18 years and this has all the colors and reminders of that great area!

This quilt is stunning! I'll host you here in Louisiana...be forewarned, however, it's a little warm here. Maybe wait till winter to bring the quilt over!
