    What a pretty and unusually bargello quilt. I have never seen this pattern before.

    Wow! That is absolutely stunning. I'm trying to puzzle out how you did the main body. Are they sewn in strips then cut and the strips assembled in a staggered pattern? You are so talented.

    Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I get so many ideas from looking at pictures on this board, I hope I can inspire others too.

    Belfrybat - that is what I did - sewing the pieces into strips and staggered them to sew together.

    The wristband had bands of five beads, so I figured 1"square per bead. The rows were staggered by two beads, so I staggered them by 2".

    I was looking at different bargello needlepoint designs, and came across the beaded wristband. I would have liked to make it smaller, but the center strips are only 1" wide, so not a lot of "room" to go smaller.
