Quilt Top Pic & I need pricing suggestions, please!
#1
Years ago my mother knotted & finished a colorful scrappy quilt top that was given to us. We used it whenever one of us didn't feel quite right, and it was a really comfy feeling - more than other quilts I've had. I'm sure it's quite worn by now ( my ex has it - I think) but I still refer to it as the "magic quilt". The quilt top in this pic reminds me of that quilt.
I found this quilt at a thrift store, and spent several hours on it this morning. It was lap quilt size with the blocks on both sides. Even though I really, really do not like ripping that is what I did, and then added borders. Didn't have quite enough of the border fabric so I added another similar piece to finish it. A few of the blocks are lightweight drapery or upholstery fabric. It's a combination of I Spy and Charm Block and Scrappy and Magic. :-)
My pricing question is: what is a reasonable price to ask for this 84" x 91" quilt top? Any suggestions?

it depends on where you are planning to offer it? most tops- especially ones with a hodge-podge of fabrics generally go for about $20 --- i've seen some that just will not sell at all---and wind up given to one of the groups making quilts for the homeless.
