My EX-DIL's sister asked me to make slip covers for her couches; seats and top cushions. There are about 24 of them. She has the fabric, we are friends, and family and I see her every Sunday when she comes to pick up my DGD for the day.

How much do you think I should charge, they don't have a lot of money so I don't want to charge too much. They are very simple and she even said I don't have to put the zipper in, I could use velcro.

Wow, your question is too difficult for me to answer. Sewing is a labor of love and a consumer of time. There is not an amount that can easily be place on this especially for friends and family. Maybe a barter of some sort would work instead of cash? Good Luck!
