I've renamed the pattern because my niece said it wasn't a "bread" basket, but more of a Muffin or Biscuit basket.
To answer allof the questions I can remember:
1. Yes, I'm sharing the pattern
http://home.comcast.net/~carney-creations2/Quilting/muffin_basket_mexican_star.pdf
2. Yes, it does fold up nicely (as you can see if this picture)
3. I modified it from using Y-seams to straight seams
4. I found the original pattern in the book called 365 Fun To Stitch Blocks. That information is stated in the pdf file.
5. I don't normally sell, but if you ARE interested, contact me personally
[email protected]
6. When do we eat ???? Well, dinner is usually about 6:30 EST
7. How and where I made the changes: you can find them if you have the book to look at...then you'll see how the pattern was modified

Thank you for the pattern and the easy way for flying geese! I always have a hard time with those.

Thanks for the pattern - I see some Christmas gifts in the making... As for dinner - I'll be there with a bottle of wine (red or white?? or both lol!) and ROLLS to fill that basket...

My neice came up with another idea for the muffin basket.
Tuck in one of the corners, tack it down and you have a cute hat to cover her ears and the back of her neck.

Oh, kids...gotta love their imagination !!!

Put a little ribbon on each of the corners to tie under her chin! What a beautiful child!!!!! She has definitely got the crafting and design genes in her!

What a cool idea and a good way to experiment with the Y seam!
