Default Brent & Julie's quilt

This one has been a long time in the making. Brent is my wife's brother. All three of their kids got quilts back in 2009. We told them they were on the list, but life happened and theirs kept getting put off. We were at their house back in the fall of 2014 and they asked if they were ever going to get a quilt. We had Julie help us pick out some fabrics and she picked Yellow Brick Road for a pattern (thank goodness!). It went nowhere for a long time after that. This May their oldest graduated high school and we have been working on that quilt and this one back and forth. Both of them got finished this weekend.

This is King size. Julie likes earth tones, and they have adopted three children from China, so there is some Asian fabric in here.

We pieced the back on this one

The quilting is Lotus blossoms

Thanks for looking!
