I completed another quilt for Quilts for Kids. I used one of the patterns from their web-site (see link below). This was my first time doing FMQ on my DSM. I really enjoyed FMQ, but need to practice a lot more as my stitch length was not consistent, and my hands weren't very smooth on the FMQ hearts.

(I previously posted this quilt, but it was before being quilted and bound.)

This is a wonderful QFK. And I can not believe this is your first time FMQ! It looks awesome! I think you are a natural. I can't imagine how gorgeous your FMQ will get when you have a few more quilts done! I think we have another Diane Gaudynski in the making.

I just love everything about this quilt - hearts, colors, layout.

So I need to ask - how many hours of practice did you have to FMQ so beautifully? Is the border a transferred pattern or did you just eyeball and go? I wanna FMQ like you!
