    That's lovely! The brights are in the 'cool' range so when you added that dark blue border you tamed it nicely.

    What's not to like? This looks lovely. What makes a summer quilt? Light colors? Thin batting? Would like to make one but not sure what batting to use. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK

    My thoughts exactly! I love this! But I know what you mean about needing some breathing room when you reach a point where you just don't know what to do with a project. It needs what my Mother used to call "a good dose of leaving alone". This was just waiting to emerge, like a beautiful butterfly!!!

    I love this little quilt. I'm not usually a "purple person," but those borders are just what the doctor ordered. I've come to realize that it's not so much the colors but the combinations and the contrasts that count in the end.
