    boston, you did good. just love your brown log cabin. didn't take too long to finish it..and yes it does pay to stay off the computer a few days...lol..but i am afraid of missing something...lol...thank you so much for sharing.. :thumbup: :thumbup:

    The instructions that I found call for them to be 2 inches wide. I saw a really pretty one in a show once that was very small, but like the bigger ones. This block is 12 inches when sewn to others.

    I am making them out of antique fabrics- that alone has been a challenge!!!!! But I have been finding them for awhile and now have what I need. Just wish I had more than 2 hands :mrgreen:

    Fantastic job. I love the different browns you chose. Personally, I like log cabins that have the wider 2" strips like this, as opposed to the narrower ones. Thanks for the pm. You should be pleased!

    So we're quilt addicted, and fabric addicted, and computer addicted. I can think of worse things. Love the results! I'll try to lose the game things though. So much time....
