I know I talk too much, but there is this one story that I love: His mom was a co-worker and knew me rather well. For Christmas, Little B's gift to me was a set of two really nice kitchen towels. Well, when I opened up that gift, he was so embarrassed. His mom told me that he hadn't wanted to go to school that day, because he didn't want to give Ms. Gail towels. He said he wished she had bought a box of candy. I used those towels for YEARS and thought of him everytime I put my hands on them. Until today, everytime I see him (his machine shop is nearby), I think about those beautiful thick kitchen towels.

I teach and usually end up giving away most of the stuff I get, as I could never keep it all in the space I have!!! (Teachers do not need any more coffee mugs, lotion and tote bags, folks!) I wish somebody would make me a quilt, though...I'd treasure it forever!
