Darlin121 sent me this beautiful quilt!
So soft and lovely....she said this was for her granddaughter and she liked butterflies.
I couldn't just randomly apply butterflies all over this quilt..that didn't seem right to me.
I decided to center a butterfly in each white/silver square..and then I filled everything in with a feathery type design... finishing it off with a feathered border.
I was afraid of it being to "much" quilting so I made my feather plumes really big....to get the effect and I just love the way it turned out...
I quilted this on my long arm,26 INNOVA. All free hand..no pantographs or computers.
