    This is a gorgeous quilt, and if you follow the directions in the book carefully, it is quite easy to make. I made one last year, in a weekend. Started Friday night, and had it quilted and bound by Sunday afternoon.
    By the way, good job of this particular quilt.

    You DO need the book although the quilt is a LOT easier than it looks. I am a novice and I had no trouble with it. A lady at church gave me a pack of fat quarters that were coordinated.
    I am giving her the quilt this week. I think she will be surprised.
    I did not make a hanger as i did not want to decorate her home.
