Another Cheryl Phillips pattern.

Making the body piece took more time than making the wing and background pieces. I dislike foundation piecing!

This would have looked nicer had I placed the body piece in the correct alignment!

My husband looked at it and said it was a victory sign with a cherry on top...totally missed the wings! (Explains why he thinks I'm nice looking)

OMG - the start of a beautiful piece - is that batiks with gold on it???????? I absolutely love your fabrics.

I think it is Beautiful, love the colors but maybe a little more contrast. My sister and her husband have a house in Pahrump.

You captured the butterfly fluttering its wings. Beautiful fabrics.

The wings are Batik with gold lines. The background is more green Batik. The accent is a shiny royal blue.

The process is easy...strip piecing until you create the butterfly body.
