Your new quilt is absolutely grand. I love it! It doesn't match the wallpaper, but I totally agree that the quilt trumps the wallpaper. Who would look at the walls with that quilt in the room? NOBODY! The quilt is the star!

The room is beautiful. The quilt is beautiful. End of story they look fine together. Besides that, I like quilts that evoke memories of yesterday when ladies cared for their families by making items for them like quilts to keep them warm

That quilt would look gorgeous with concrete block walls! Use it, it's stunning.

Go for it! You have made a beautiful scrappy looking quilt. One of the things I love about this type of quilt is that it looks great no matter what is around it. Your bedroom is beautiful. Enjoy!

I love it!! Good thing you did not put it on the wall. Someone here said once that a quilt that big would stress the stitches if it were hanging up. It is wonderful on the bed.

Thanks, ladies--you've managed to overcome my insecurities! I love the quilt, and I'm going to use it! I'm committed to the wallpaper because both the bedroom and bathroom are done in the same pattern, along with shades and valances that go with it, but I love the quilt too much not to use it. Maybe I'll make another in lighter colors to use in the summertime!
