    Cabin in the Oaks

My first log cabin. The pattern is called Cabin in the Oaks. It's 88" x 88". Thanks for looking.

Lovely quilt! Colors are so nice (I'm partial to quilts with a lot of red in them).

Yeah! You chose the red binding Suits it to a T. Beautiful quilt!!
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

It's a beautiful log cabin! The oak leaf appliques really take it up a notch.

Yes, I did do the binding in red. Almost everyone that responded said red. One person from the board told me that because the small red square was the consistent fabric in every square that I should use that fabric and that's what I did. I love this board!

It's beautiful! It's a great layout and I really like the appliques added to it.
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

Beautiful log cabin. If any pattern stands the test of time, it surely must be the log cabin.
