Congratulations - I remember reading about your trials and tribulations with this quilt. I hope that blue ribbon makes it all worthwhile for you. It's certainly a blue ribbon job.

When I won my first ribbon (3rd place!), I jumped up and down, yelling "I won! I won!" My husband says it is still one of his fondest memories.

Thank you. Yes, I did quilt it myself on my regular stationary machine (not lucky enough to own a longarm).

I have definitely had some trials and tribulations with this quilt. Lots of lessons learned though.

I wanted to squeal and jump and twirl around but I also don't like to draw too much attention to myself so I kept it quiet. LoL

Wow what a beautiful quilt..The blocks look like they are ready to jump right off the quilt....no wonder you received a blue ribbon...great job..
