    I mean an other way of distortion..........I will try to draw one by hand and come back.
    Will take some time DH is done with making dinner :thumbup:

    It is too hard to do it by hand. So DH made pics with the e phone.
    I hope you know now better what I mean

    its i phone not e phone, isnt it!? :oops:

    I love the blocks distorted that way!!! I wonder though, if you won't have to applique the snake down? instead of coloring it in, within the blocks?

    I really LOVE this quilt idea :D:D:D

    I like it very much, thank you. But I set my mind on that snake within the octagon pattern. I plan to piece the snake and the top "perfectly" and the lower part distorted. Maybe I go with another octagon pattern at the bottom.
