That is a fantastically beautiful quilt. A lot of work in a very short time. I am very slow -- I'm not sure I could ever get one that intricate finished! Great Job!

beautiful. I love fabrics and that pattern is such a challenge. Hope she enjoys the time and effort that it took by you and the quilter to get it done perfectly. wow wow

I adore many of Judy Martin's patterns. I have her Stellar Quilts book and several in that are on my some day list. You did an absolutely amazing job with this broken star Mariner's compass. A very challenging design to the say the least. I also know Judy prefers templates to rotary cutting. What an heirloom you have created. It is jaw droppingly gorgeous. Oh how I wish the recipient of this masterpiece would enter it in a show! The hand quilting is the icing on the cake. That intertwined feather cable is to die for.
