the good news is that the boo-boo adds an unexpected element of humor and whimsy to the quilt. like a "gotcha!"

the equally good news is that if you absolutely must "fix" it, you only need to unstitch around that section, flip the keys, and stitch it back. you don't have to rip out whole border(s) to make the change.

I see it and love it just the way it is, those dumb ass things are what makes it an original. God bless.

I called it, "Wild Winds"

What do you think, and would you tear it up and redo the upside down piano keys that I screwed up? Keep in mind that imperfection is said to be art and originality, right?? : )))))
It is a stunning quilt, full of color, flair and creativity. Saying that,
I WOULD take the incorrectly positioned piano keys out and replace or reposition them. Something so beautiful should not be marred by an error that you saw and will always know is THERE! Belles

I don't see anything wrong with it!

Quit analyzing it, finish it and if someone notices something tell them you did it purpose to see how observant people are.

    Apparently I failed the test.

I am afraid it would drive me 'nuts'. On the other hand, it might not bee hard to fix. I assume it can come out as one piece i might not even take the border off, just cut stitches on the offending piece, turn it around and restitch. It is so attractive, I think you might be happier if it were 'perfect'. Maybe lok at itfor a week or so and then decide.

I would have to fix it if it is going to be yours but if you are giving it away then you won't have to look at it and whoever you give it to probably won't notice it because it doesn't look bad at all. In fact it is a very pretty quilt.
