Default canada 150 quilt

This quilt has only 72 of the 156 blocks made to commemorate Canada's 150th birthday. This one is complete. There is one more this size and a large one with 156 6 inch blocks, bordered and ready to quilt. Just ran out of steam and Christmas is looming with lots left to do.f7fa22b2-0a14-4946-abe2-254ce184eec2.jpeg3a1f4c27-bbb0-4a8d-8b05-f10d3f378a81.jpeg

Glorcour ... Congratulations!
My goodness ... you did double the blocks.
I'll look forward to seeing all three quilts together in a future post.

I bet you learned a lot about the significant women in Canadian history.

I didn't know about this quilt project until it was well on the way and really would have liked to have followed along with the weekly block releases. Still thinking of ordering the CD with the patterns and stories, but it just wouldn't be the same, not doing it in the 150th year. But yes, probably still will, especially for the historical info!
