Thread: Candlequilter's Star Replacements

    I am still working on getting a Candlequilter's Star completed...First pic is one not sew together. I just can't get them to go together and lay flat. I will not stop until I get it! In the mean time the other three autumn blocks are what I will be sending out to Sherryl....

    Your replacements are lovely! Did you see the post from Candlequilter a few days ago where she was sending revised patterns to a few people. Evidently there was a problem with some of the ones people got that were maybe not scaled correctly, so she sent out a different format. Maybe you need to get one of the revised patterns. The one I got worked fine, and believe me, I'm no pp pro.

    You did a beautiful job on your stars. Did you try ironing the seams flat when putting the candlequilter's star together? This has worked for me in the past when creating paper-pieced stars. Worth a try.
