    Candy's Quilt

I made this quilt for my friend, Candy. She doesn't know about it yet. I'm having dinner with her on Sunday night and will be giving it to her then. Last winter were were talking and I casually asked her what her favourite colour was, and she said blue, and added that she especially likes blue and white together, like blue willow china. I think this quilt captures the spirit of blue willow china quite well, and I hope she agrees! The fabrics were from my stash. The pattern is from Moda, and can be found here: http://www.modabakeshop.com/2011/12/...res-quilt.html Thanks for looking.

Gorgeous quilt! I heard somewhere that blue and white quilts always do well at auctions. It's such a classic combination.

Gorgeous and I absolutely love blue and white. In fact that is the very next quilt I have planned out to make. You did a lovely job and your friend is so lucky to be receiving such a gift of love. God Bless...
Families are like old quilts....although they tend to unravel at times...each can be stitched back together with love.
