    I also like the second one best :thumbup: however I'm no help with the quilting aspect, all I've done is SID.

    I also like the Mariners Compass ... and the kitty too!

    That will be a great quilt, the color combo is wonderful.

    My vote would be for "same block." Your work looks so perfect! I hope somebody comes to your aid as far as the quilting goes!

    My personal opinion is the more complicated the block ,the sim pler the quiling should be so it doesn,t detract from the block. I would just do a simple meander. Oh, I love the mariners block in the middle

    I love the second one but it will be a very lumpy quilt if you can't move the cat!!! I vote for the simple meander also.

    Yes I agree on the second one. The extra white Makes the quilt pop. Great looking quilt.
