The Cardinal Rule Quilt and others with the left over fabrics

I finally made this Cardinal wall hanging/throw. It is big enough for a throw, but I put it on the wall. Then I had lots of left over fabric and decided I would make other things with it. So I did a table runner and place mat set, a quilt for the bench and a small wall hanging. I still had scraps so I made 7 mug rugs and 5 hot pads. Woohoo! Cardinals everywhere.

I have seven bird feeders in my yard, and I'm always thrilled to see a cardinal. You brought yours all inside! Great projects.

Great projects for the cardinals. They are a favorite bird. We usually get to enjoy watching their nest in the spring.

Those are all beautiful, but I feel like I could sit down to that table with the runner and mats and enjoy just being there looking at them.
