    a carousel for Christmas

I saw this pattern at a quilt show, thinking it would be great for my 8 yo DGD who loves carousels and horses, but didn't buy it at the time. Later on, I decided I had to have it, so went to the LQS to see if they had it. They didn't, but offered to see if they could get it. They were unable to locate it, so I ended up finding it online. I honestly tried to support my LQS, but unfortunately the way things are going, I think we're going to be buying more and more online. Anyhow, here is the finished quilt. I sure hope she likes it. I decided I should make two, since I have two DGDs.

I love that pattern too, have made 2 of them so far. It's by Nancy Chong of Pacific Rim Quilt Co. Yours is very nicely done.

As soon as I saw the picture I knew it was a Pacific Rim pattern, I've done several of theirs. Great job on this one!
