Beautiful!! Don't know how large those squares are but that looks like some pretty close stitching. Have never met the woman obviously, but I'm betting "she's still got it"!!!

Your DD's MIL is a master handquilter by the looks of things. It is looking fabulous. Such tiny even stitches!

So lovely. I am trying to get back to hand quilting too----not sure my hands agree ! I have always prefered this method,I suppose I just love the tradition,It is so much softer looking too. Letty
