    Carpenter Star

I pieced and quilted this Carpenter's Star for a former coworker. It is a Christmas gift for her friend. I used my Tin Lizzie 18LS with Quilt Magician robot to quilt this. I delivered it the other day and it is always soooooo heart warming to experience the joy when someone recieves such a warm gift. Just reinforces why I love to quilt.

    Thank you for looking.

I love it. My maiden name was Carpenter and this is on my list of "to do's" How large is it? I love your border.

It is a lap size, i can't remember the measurements. But it's an easy pattern. All half square triangles.

I don't have much of a list of "to do" quilts, but this one caught my eye just yesterday in a list of patterns and I definitely want to do this one; my father was a carpenter and that's what drew my attention to the pattern. Great job! Colors are very nice, too.

Beautiful quilt and yes it is very rewarding to gift a quilt to someone who really appreciates it.
I would love to make this quilt for my bed does the pattern go up to king size?

You can make this any size you want! It's really a simple pattern to do.

Gorgeous !! Carpenter's Star is my next project. I am half thru working on a Hunter's Star quilt - just adding the borders etc. & then I can get on with the quilting. It is for my DD for Christmas. She's pretty fussy so I do hope she likes it. I can only hope that my Carpenter's Star could even come close to yours - it is truly beautiful.
