Default Carpenter Star

Here is a Carpenter Star quilt I made. It measure 84" square. I really wanted to do some fancy quilting on this so I could enter it into shows. It'll be in our guilds show in Oct. I even matched the binding to match the border. A first for me. I'm hoping to put it in the Dallas show in March also.

Beautiful! Was it quilted on a longarm or a DSM? Good luck with the shows!

Having enter many quilt shows including a couple of major ones in the 90s, an important item that the judges look for is perfect hand stitched binding and that the quilt lays flat. Good luck !!

Beautiful quilt. I love the way you did your binding. I would not have ever thought of that.
