This is my most favorite carpenters wheel I have seen so far. Just love the colors and the prints you used in this. Love, Love, Love it!!!!

As you can see from my avatar, I've had experience with that block. I think the hardest part is getting all the squares made of half-sq. triangles turned the correct way when sewing them together. I did more un-sewing because I got something turned wrong. You did a great job on yours and your points look great! Love the colors too.

" . . . . just wanted to stitch something simple". Simple, my foot. The Carpenter's Wheel is a difficult block with "Y" seams, etc. I can see you used QST and HST but it is still difficult. You did a masteful job in both color selection and workmanship. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
