Very pretty as I love these colors together especially in this pattern. Again what a beautiful quilt!! I do know what you mean about trying to find that perfect piece in your stash and them after the fact you find what was needed.

Lovely!

I'm trying to find the pattern and it looks like you start piecing the log in one direction, then flip it and go in the other direction?? And this is done a few times in the course of the block (whereas traditional log cabins continue in one direction around the block).

I see

center blocks
left strip
top strip
left strip
bottom strip
right strip
top strip
left strip
top strip
left strip
bottom strip

and so on ..

yes??

Pretty neat result!!! Very pretty quilt and perfectly named!!

Now that is a very attractive bunch of carrot sticks. I am glad that you could find the border fabric.

The blocks were pieced in one direction. But the series went white, orange, white, orange, green, purple; white, orange, white, orange, green, purple. For every two whites and every two oranges, there was one green and one purple. Strips were 1.25" Center square was a light green.

Thank you very much!
